Breaded chicken legs

If you’ve got a craving for breaded chicken but you’ve given up carbs, this no carb keto friendly chicken recipe is going to be a lifesaver!



Ingredients (Serves 4):

25 gr. almond flour

1 tbsp. coconut flour

1 tbsp. milk

1 tbsp. olive oil

3 pcs. eggs

1 / 4 tbsp. baking powder

8 pcs. chicken legs

1 tbsp. spices (oregano, basil, cumin, garlic, pepper)

 half mugs of cooking oil

 salt and pepper to taste

Steps to follow:

-To make bread crumbs:

Whisk milk, egg and olive oil in a mug. Add almond and coconut flour, baking powder, salt and mix until smooth. Microwave for 90 seconds. Remove the bread from the mug and slice.

Preheat oven to 120 ° C. Place bread slices on a baking sheet and bake for 60-90 minutes or until bread is dry. Grind the bread in a food processor.

Place the breadcrumbs and spices in a plate. Break 2 eggs into a bowl and beat lightly. Dip each chicken drumstick in eggs, then coat in breadcrumbs.

 Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat (3-4 cm oil). Fry the chicken legs in batches of 12-15 minutes, turning once or until golden brown.

Serve with your favorite sauce.
