Rich meat soup with vegetables and paprika for keto diet



Ingredients for 5 servings:
  • Beef shoulder 800 gr
  • Bell peppers 2 pcs.
  • Broth 800 ml.
  • Melted butter 2 tsp
  • Ground paprika to taste
  • Bow 1 pc.
  • Garlic 2 heads
  • Fresh unsalted lard 150 gr.
  • Tomatoes 3-4 pcs.
  • Cumin to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Greens

Steps to follow:

  • Cut the beef and lard into small pieces. For the soup, juicy meat with many fatty streaks is ideal - it will stew well, and the beef soup will turn out to be very rich.
  • Finely chop the onion and garlic.
  • Peel the bell pepper, remove seeds and partitions, cut into large strips.
  • Blanch the tomatoes, peel and cut into slices.
  • Cut the carrots into small cubes.
  • In a large saucepan, melt the fat out of the bacon, remove the greaves. Reduce heat and sauté onion and garlic in fat.
  • Add paprika, butter and stir quickly.
  • Then add the meat immediately, season with salt and simmer with a lid on the container.
  • As soon as the juice that the meat released has evaporated, add the cumin, a little water or broth, and leave the meat to simmer in a little liquid, adding it if necessary.
  •  Water should only cover the beef, which is stewed for an hour and a half. Then put tomatoes, bell peppers, carrots in a saucepan. Cook for another 15-20 minutes.
  • 5-7 minutes before cooking, you can add celery, parsley or cilantro to your Goulash soup to your taste.
