Meatballs for keto diet on Asian way

Ingredients for 8 servings:


  • 900 g chicken or any other minced meat (pork, beef or turkey)
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 thinly sliced ​​green bulbs
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup (64 g) coconut flour


  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or coconut sauce
  • 1.5 tablespoons unsalted rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar substitute
  • 1 crushed clove of garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Steps to follow:

  • Preheat oven to 200 ° C. Cover the baking tray with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • In a large bowl, mix all ingredients thoroughly to cook the meatballs until smooth.
  • If the meat mixture is too soft and sticky, put it in the fridge for 15 minutes before forming the meatballs.
  • Form from the meat mixture 40 meatballs, about 4 cm in diameter. Place the meatballs on a prepared baking sheet. Bake them in the oven for 15 minutes or until the temperature inside the meatballs reaches 74 ° C.
  • In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients thoroughly to make the sauce. Serve it with meatballs or pour them with cooked sauce.
