Keto cookies with peanut butter and chocolate crumbs

  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons of unsweetened natural peanut butter
  • 1 / 2 cup (115 g) brown or regular granulated sugar substitute
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup (96 g) of almond flour
  • 1 / 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 / 4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 / 4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 / 4 cup (40 g) pieces of low-carbohydrate chocolate (low-carbohydrate chocolate chips, for example)

Steps to follow:

  •  Preheat the oven to 180C degrees. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar substitute and egg until smooth. Set the mixture aside.
  • In another bowl, mix the almond flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt until smooth.
  • Add the flour mixture to the oil mixture and mix until smooth. Add the chocolate chips to the resulting mixture and mix thoroughly to distribute the chocolate evenly.
  • Form 8 large balls from the dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake cookies in the oven for 15 minutes. Allow to cool completely before use!
